Hi Gals! Soph here...

I'm looking for someone to join me in curating beautiful events for Girls Eat + Meet! With my help, you'll take the reins with event management, content, and community… (this is a part-time paid roll, just a few hours a week, which will be flexible).

If you love a good event, know your way around Instagram/TikTok, and are the kind of person who naturally brings good energy… keep reading.

P.s. you must be based in Christchurch x

About Girls Eat + Meet

Girls Eat + Meet is all about bringing women together, through food, conversations, and experiences that are FUN!

Think dinner parties, workshops, cute moments, and a community people genuinely want to be part of.

The role

This is a super flexible, part-time role (around 3-5 hours a week), working with me (Soph) to learn how to bring our events to life from start to finish, with my help!

You’ll be involved in a bit of everything:

Coming up with ideas for events
Coordinating with venues and suppliers to plan the event
Using our event hosting platform to build the event online
Being there on event day! (set up, making sure everything runs smoothly, packing down etc.)
Capturing content (iPhone is perfect)
Posting / replying / helping keep our lovely community engaged!
Social media posting on Instagram and TikTok

This is a paid opportunity, however please bear in mind that Girls Eat + Meet is a social enterprise, so the goal is the community, and bringing women together over profits. This is something we will discuss more of in an interview!

You’d be perfect if you…

Are organised but also creative
Are confident, friendly, and good with people
Love social media and know what looks good
Have a good eye for detail/aesthetic
Take initiative
Must be based in Christchurch

Bonus if you love food, hosting, or have done anything similar before, but not essential.
